Bodies Found Buried in Killer's Kitchen

In a case that has deeply shocked Rwanda, Denis Kazungu, a 34-year-old man, has pleaded guilty to a series of gruesome crimes, including the murder of 12 women and two men. His horrific actions were discovered after police found multiple bodies buried in the kitchen of his rented home in Kicukiro, a suburb of Kigali.

Kazungu’s crimes came to light when he was evicted from his home for defaulting on rent payments. His landlord’s report led to a police visit, during which Kazungu’s excessive crying and apologies raised suspicions.
