The warm, damp environment near the shower drain is a breeding ground for bacteria, yeast, and mold. You can easily pick up athlete’s foot, warts, or other infections just by stepping onto the floor. Protect yourself by wearing flip-flops in the shower and avoiding direct contact with the floor.
